Vinny Osborne’s sound mix was consistently good throughout, providing a pleasing mix of orchestration; chorus and individual voices with a good stage/pit balance.

RICHIE RYAN, AIMS - SHEEVAWN MUSICAL GROUP, A CHORUS LINESound, in the capable hands of Vinny Osborne,
was very well balanced, confident and the cueing perfect.
Pat McElwain, AIMS - The Musicman, Pioneer MS.
The barbershop quartet was handled superbly with the melody lines ever so slightly above the other three. There was a lovely warmth to their amplification which complemented the fine blend of voices they had. `Lida Rose` stood out in particular. Some well-chosen sound effects including the train, firecracker, birdsong and crickets. No cues were missed throughout. There was a perfect featuring of the violin during the hoedown section of `Shipoopi` which was perfectly timed and enhanced to just the correct level. There was a most effective echo on Ms Sweeney`s voice as she sang offstage after the footbridge scene. A most impressive design and operation with all the stops pulled out to give the society full measure.
