Generally a very good balance between the performers and the band. The tone was well judged throughout the show and never did I find myself “in pain” or at the mercy of the sound designer which can so often be the case. Mics on when they should have been, no dropped lines.
Nice use of reverb and the slow motion effect in the “Seeds Parable”. It really enhanced the scene. I did feel however the sound was discrete and sensitive. Well done Mr. Osborne.

Although the clear diction of the performers helped, Vinny Osborne’s overall sound mix was consistently good, providing a pleasing mix of orchestration; chorus and individual voices with a good stage/pit balance throughout.
The sound effects of sea-gulls, a crying baby, a car engine, gun shots and a train pulling out from the station all worked well, while the echo on Coalhouse when Sarah was murdered was a nice touch.
